Broken screen

I have the Sony handycam with a cracked lens on the flip out portion of the handycam. Sony wants $262 for the replacement flip out. I wonder if anyone else out there has a contact for one, or even a used one for that matter. It looks like I can unscrew 2 screws and replace it but I may be fooled also. Thanks, Randy
