Help with condensation error.

I have a seven year old camcorder, JVC GR D31EK and I need help with condensation error on the LCD screen when I go to record it says Please Wait and wont let me do anything for ages. It first happened when in humid atmosphere and now happens constantly every time I turn it on.

As you have chosen to withhold your e-mail address the only advice that can be given on Pechorins is with the aid of a hairdryer on its coolest setting blow a few 15 second bursts of air into the open cassette holder then leave the camcorder for slightly over the hour to allow the memory to reset. If this doesnt work then there is a memory reset procedure which can sometimes effect a cure, albeit this on some occasions for a somewhat limited period!, if it doesnt then disabling the sensor is the only choice available and needless to say both these procedures requires an element of dismantling, the latter mentioned really only being suitable for people used to working on small precisions pieces of equipment as its quite involved. The aforementioned HAS to go to a direct e-mail address, something which obviously cannot be done if anyone chooses to withhold it.
