The intercom feature of the Nutone Intercom 3103 just stopped working

We have a Nutone Intercom Model 3103 Series. It has been working fine with radio and I have hooked my AV audio from my stereo into the tape input years ago it it plays music from it. All of that still works but just recently the intercom feature stoppped working. Last time that happend I went to each room and played with the controls and it started working again. No luck now. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it?
