I must admit I was skeptical about this fix.... I pictured someone, somewhere sitting at their keyboard, laughing hysterically at the thought that some nitwit would actually follow these step by step guidelines to try to fix their T.V... As I was following these steps, I kept wondering if the end result would be that I had totally destroyed the programming on my T.V. and making it a useless piece of furniture... Kinda like the "brilliant minds" that develop viruses that destroy your computer... I was wrong... The "fix" worked perfectly and I've saved some $$$$ by not having to call in the Geek Squad... My hat's off to you whoever you are... Thank you very much. For your info, the T.V. in question was purchased by me in July, 2008 and is a JVC LCD set Model # LT-42X579.. Thanks again.....
