convergence (HELP!)

I recently changed the IC's in my tv along with a resistor that had blown. When I hooked it back up nothing has changed; I still have the same bowed view along with no sound. I tried to manual/auto adjust the convergence but to be honest I don't have a clue of what I am doing. Any baby step help would be greatly appreciated.
