There isn't an error code reset as such although on some models you can access the memory back up battery which is situated on the "underside" of the camcorder near where the side grip is located, its a small rectangular slit and if you see it slide its casing out for about a minute or so then reinsert it, be aware that you will lose the clock time by doing this. E-06 is always associated with capstan problems, and this can even show if any cassette being used contains a jammed tape, as that can stop the capstan from turning which in turn triggers this code, however if that doesnt apply then I am afraid its a case off for investigation purposes. PS: the battery is a CR2025 button cell type.
