I just bought a jvc hd 56gc87 privately and they said that the lamp is burn, so i got it for a good price. When I turned it on the lamp light blinks, but not the power light. I removed the lamp and it was distroyed. The light bulb actually snapped off. After reading the manual it says if the bulb was bad that the lamp light and power on light will blink together. Did you ever see the lamp go bad and only flash the lamp light. I think maybe the previous owner knew there was something wrong with the tv and broke the bulb himself just to say it was a light bulb issue. Do you think I should buy another bulb to see if this works? What are so common problems for the lamp light just to flash.
