I think you have to admit to having an element of the wishful thinking involved with this question, as you must realise that the cost of getting this repaired will not be that much different from the cost of getting any other CRT type set fixed, this basically because the time taken to fix service charge will be the same as with any other device, charges for components used always being trivial in relation to the labor charges involved.
