Hello, I'm a Brazilian SONY consumer, but I live in USA for many years and got a HomeTeather model STR-K740P some time ago. I took this unit to Brazil and gave to my mother. After some time the central channel output began to show noises, but still workin. So she took there (in Brazil) in a Oficial Sony Technical Assistance and they reported that I have to replace the digital board unit. They informed me the part number A-4728-363-A, but when I searched the Sony Parts Website I found the part number A-4728-360-A. On the eletronic board is written the following code: 1-683-779-11. I want to know if the board A-4728-360-A is the same board used by the model STR-K740P and if replacing it, will fix the problem of noise in the central channel. If yes, I want to buy one unit using the website, cause they don´t have this unit in BRZ. I´ll be in NYC for this next week so please I waiting for an answer. Thanks in advance for your help.
