I have the same problem with my sony kv-32fs120 blinking 9 times. The tv was only used for about three months. I was told it was probably a zero cross detector that has gone bad and not worth fixing. I spent $600 on this tv and got to use it for 3 months. Also Sony knows about these defective parts and refuses to do anything about it. I will never buy Sony anything ever again.
