Set Clock on a Pioneer car radio

On mine, you can push and hold the volume's button for few seconds and then the clock settings came. However, once I turn the car off it lost all settings and the display says PIONEER and the lights blick red and green. I ran a cable directly from the radio memory to the battery but still doing the same. Also when I power off the radio does the same, lost all settings.
