I bought this unit, DR- mv1s in 05.. and the error light stayed on so I called jvc in ca, and the said to send unit to them.. it cost me $ 21.00 to send to them and I wrote a note stating what was srong.. the drop deck in vcr will not load and the error light comes on.. the sent it back a week later and the error light was fixed but not the drop deck .. I wrote jvc again and called them also and I and gave them the tech's info of who fixed it and never got a reply back and they were rude when i called them.. I paid alot of money for this unit, and the dvd still works great, I would like to get the vcr fixed .. I have read alot of reviews on this unit and alot of people have had the same problem and why doesnt jvc do a recall on these and fix them.. they just ignore..I didnt read the reviews then, but I do now before i buy any product from jvc if i ever buy the items again.. thanks Ray
