If you are referring to the fact that nothing now works coupled to "if" the TV timer light is seen blinking, then it indicates that the power unit has shut down for safety reasons because a fault has been detected, this a very common thing with a certain range of older CRT (tube) models. Although should the set appear completely dead then its internal fuse has possibly blown for similar reasons to above.
