Having trouble installing a new JVC CD Player.

I just purchased a JVC KD-S16 CD Player for my 1997 Ford Ranger and seem to be having issues with the installation due to the wiring not matching up with what comes with the CD Player and what was left from the last one being stolen. Cannot think of the name right now, but it's that cable with the multiple wires; it's larger than the old one and the wire colors don't match up exactly.
