Home | Previous messageWell the most usual reason for this is that the antenna is either not plugged in properly or if it is there is a possibility of the cable either being broken or alternatively shorted out, if broken its usually immediately where it leaves the plug. As far as checking is concerned, if when you turn the volume up high you hear a loud hissing or general background noise then its liable to indicate that the radio as such is OK, pointing of course to the antenna.
