I have a JVC VCR Model HR-DD750U 4HD HIFI VCR (late 1999) which has never given me any trouble until now.

Recently it has started to turn off the power while I am recording. I would restart it but within 20-30 seconds it would cut out again. On my last tape it cut out after just over an hour continuous recording. Earlier this seemd to happen when I stopped recording because of long commercial interval, then restarted. Am at a loss as to what I can do.
