I had the same problem. First un-screw the 4 screws on the cd player and take the top off. Look on either side at the belts and pulleys. One is to make all the disc trays go up and down and one is to make the tray shoot out. If the belt is bad replace it with a rubber band and look if it works. I did that and it worked.
