i am in need of help. standby timer button stuck

I have a sony trinitron tv that has the standby timer button stuck on and cannot turn on my tv because of it. I have tried turning of the tv over night. i have tried holding in the button. holding in the power button but nothing seems to work. any idesa? please email me....i would love to watch tv. thanks
