Almost, although not 100%, guaranteed to be caused by the failure of the 1000ufd 35volt capacitor in the frame drive circuit.

    Well they are partially correct, but only in the sense that they will be totally unaware what the component mentioned is, as JVC like all main brand companies go "only" by part numbers and not what a part actually is, and so cannot assist unless they have that. Radio S.... sells a suitable radial one, part number being 272-1032, but I would strongly advise you not to try fitting this (soldering in) if you are not technically inclined, as I respectfully suspect might be the case, as although this is a "very" common failure item it could have taken another component associated with it as well, and so a test meter plus knowledge of the circuitry in that area is essential. (PS: my advice was based on assisting in a technical diagnosis of the likely cause)

    Went to the Jvc parts site and they say there is no such part? 1000 ufd 35 volt capacitor. Thank you
