Re: JVC GR-DVL805U cam corder, where can I get a cable to transfer videos to my PC?JB38 Posted Mar 03, 2010PS: forgot to add that any shop that sells connectors should stock them, as they are not really dedicated items. Re: JVC GR-DVL805U cam corder, where can I get a cable to transfer videos to my PC?JB38 Posted Mar 03, 2010You really require a standard DVi connector cable which has a miniature 4 pin plug one end (for camcorder) and a DVi plug at the other, this second plug usually being a 6 pin version to suit a desktop PC or whatever your PC uses (4 or 6) You also require to have Windows movie maker (comes as standard with PC) or some other video software with a "capture" facility installed in your PC. By the way the connector cable is frequently called a "firewire" connector or IEEE1394, but whatever they are all the same thing. |
