As this is the line output transistor everything associated with that circuit will require testing, like for example all high voltage capacitors and even the resistance of the line transformer itself in case its partially shorted, although in saying that unless you have a circuit diagram and appropriate test equipment including a variac transformer to allow a variable low voltage start up, then the chances of you finding the problem aren't very promising. You should also have mentioned the AV32??? model, as differences exist.
