If any form of liquid, especially anything other than pure water which conducts even more, gets into anything electrical its fatal to switch it on as the danger of high voltage getting into a low voltage circuit can cause devastation, and although you magically seemed to escape on the last occasion this happened I suspect you aren't so lucky this time. The only thing a non technical person could do is to sit the TV in a position where its internal circuit boards are sitting vertically and keep it that way for at least 24 hours in a warm atmosphere, you could even try blowing mildly warm air into any ventilation slots appropriate to the area contaminated. Of course the only real cure is for the rear casing to be removed and a thorough clean up operation carried out, however the damage may already be done to the circuitry.
