Our Sony Trinitron 40XBR800 had same problem past week; we had sound but no picture. We just did the fix recommended here and it worked perfectly! We found the screw labeled "screen" and turned it slightly clockwise. It required one more slight turn clockwise and we had a picture!! Thank you very much for posting this repair action.
