Just a little clarification point on the DVD/CD laser test mentioned, you of course do "not" point the camera directly at the laser but place a piece of thin white paper directly above the laser and the camera detects it being illuminated. (other reliability qualification still applies though) This only mentioned should anyone else try the laser test.
