Sony Hopefully Not going the same way as the rest BUT
I own a Sony Trinitron Wega TV KV32v16 purchased in 99. has worked well up until 2 years ago....Picture suddenly looses all of its color except green, does this for about an hour or so, then just comes back, and a few days ago we noticed a green spot in the middle of the screen and it has a shadow beneath it....
My family has owned at least 15 different Sony products this is the 2nd one we have had issue with both of course out of warranty and since the last time I called Sony about a problem they (Sony Customer service) were less than concerned and helpful with my issue (Dvd player)$600 down the drain..... I really have enjoyed Sony they often make a superior product, but when it comes to service they need a lesson in Public relations and common courtesy to their loyal customers; An example of exemplary customer service has been witnessed by me just recently at Westinghouse No I don't work for them or even own one but my father in-law was given one as a gift (USED and it did not work properly), but they fixed it for free and did it with a smile all we had to do is drop it off and pick it up WHAT Free fixes SONY WAKE UP and address your investors and corporate execs not about the BOTTOM LINE its about your customers.......
