JVC GR D750 CAMCORDER

GR D750...CD ROM ...DATA CABLE

Hi,I have a second hand GRD750 camcorder and my problem is that i,m unable to upload any footage to computer as i don't have a 'dv' cable or the cd rom and am finding it difficult to locate any on the web. Any help or thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

    Haven't any experience of this specific model however the DVi cable is also known as a "firewire" cable (or IEEE1394) and this is obtainable from a number of sources and not just JVC. Also if you use this cable you do not require any CD ROM as its only used for USB streaming, although your PC will require software installed, e.g:- Windows movie maker and this is installed as standard in XP or Vista, or some of the other numerous ranges available as they all have the required "video capture" facility. The firewire cable should have the other end to suit whatever your PC uses, this either a six or four pin firewire, desktops usually six pin.
