trying to verify a repair estimate on my sony dcrvx-1000 and the $500 worth of parts the repair shop says is necessary

I have a used sony dcr vx-1000 which I brought un for repairs, I supplied part #165640013 PC board, FP 217. The shop says I need a view finder assy @ $190.00 a keyboard @ 73.00 a dew sensor unit @ 60.00 and a power board @ $105.00. I have not approved the repairs yet. how do i verufy this stuff, not many places work on vx1000. can u help!!!!
