Can't find compatible CDRW drive

I’ve tried 2 used CDRW burners and a Brand new Sony DVD RW in my D1600 and haven’t got one to work properly yet. 1 old one and the new one wouldn’t even allow the system to boot up and the one that appeared to be working gives me a “drive condition error” just before the finish of the burning process. There is a note in the manual about finalizing the cd but I’ve followed the process exactly and the final part of the process seems to go through on it’s own just fine. Any ideas? Do I need a certain drive to be compatible? I can’t find any helpful info from Korg at all. Thanks for your help. Len
