Hi there, I have just inherited a camcorder and have the same issue, its literally brand new and has just been sat in storage and forgotten about, the model number is: GR-D73AG, it was brought in America, but is now in the UK, can you if possible, please provide some info on the fix for the lens cap issue. Do you think it can still be repaired and will it be an issue from the UK to USA or will it be repaired in the UK?? Thanks in advance for your help. Nilesh
