JVC Camcorder zoom control switch has no tension or return to neutral position after using.

Hello I have a JVC FVHSc camcorder model GR-AX841. I has one problem on the zoom lens control. It does not have the spring tension that places the control setting back to the neutral position it will move from Zoom-in to Zoom-out with the slightest touch. Can this be fixed this problem? If so is there a certified JVC repair shop in the San Jose CA. area that can fix this? Thanks Paul
