HomeDigital Video Camera not powering up, not working, can't eject tape, Hi. I've a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-DX25EK and have not been using it for a year or so. However, when I came to transfer video to the computer it wouldn't turn on... Even with the external electric supply connected nothing is happening. The red power light at the front comes on, but that's it. I can't even eject the tape fully. Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated. MANY THANKS Brendan

Unfortunately this would suggest that one of the power input fuses has gone on the main PC board, these being special soldered in types that require an element of dismantling to reach / replace, so its really a case of whether or not either yourself or someone you might know is capable of carrying this task out, however should there be then info can be sent on via direct e-mail as this includes JPEG attachments. |
