This error (E:61:00)seems to me to do with the lens system 1. The focus within the lens 2. The lens circuit board 3. A cable from the lens to the main circuit board 4. Or any or all combination(s) of the above as well as other items not common to this particular camera model(s). I have a bunch of old fd-100 and fd-200 and I tried to frankenstien one camera together, and I kept running into this error message also. Finally after several attempts at replacing lens parts I found a lens system that wasn't defective or should I say faulty (Due to age and misuse I'm sure) and poof there were no more error messages.
