Are you meaning that you can see whatever the lens is pointing at but when you press to take a snapshot the "photo" light appears on the end of the power switch and you hear the artificial shutter noise but nothing appears on the LCD? Remember if "Snapshot" recording is not possible for some reason the "photo" light will flash on the end of the power switch.
