JVC LT-42x579 TV

This morning my tv worked. I shut it off. Some 10 hours later I turn it on. But it doesn't come on. The blue onlight just flashes. I try turning it off. It doesn't go off, the blue light flashes. I push the on-off button. The blue light stays on for a few seconds than starts flashing. So far, no tv. I unplugged it. I haven't plugged it back in yet. I would appreciate help from anyone who has a clue
