need help with tv and no power. i believe possible power surge. was plugged directly into outlet vs a surge protector.

tv is a d-series, model no. av-32d501. the tv was fine. just moved into new condo unit and set up everything. [existing 2 bedrooms had wall mounted samsung plasma's just 2 months old. the plasma in one bedroom has the same problem. was working and now no power. this tv is the landlords responsibility.] my tv is too large to take somewhere. if i can do myself, this would be great. thank you for helping. karen
