i hav a sony camcorder DCR-DVD 605E and im using a sony DVD-RW disc but the moment i insert the discit shows this error message

i feel the reason for this would be the faulty formatting process but it is a 2.8 gb double sided disc and i dont wanna waste it its the only disc i hav which i got with the handycam . the moment i insert the disc it says "Disc error C:13:02 plz help me got an occassion comin near need to shoot thanks
