JVC AV 27920 not pulling Panasonic DVD Feed into it

R Posted Jul 29, 2009

JVC (AV 27920) will not work with Panasonic DVD (DVD-RP56)

I have an old JVC 27920 TV that I used to use with my Panasonic DVD Player (DVD-RP56). Its been a few years since I used it and I cannot set it up to work properly. The TV works, the DVD Player looks like its working. I can't remember how to shift from TV mode to DVD Mode There is an input button on the TV remote. However this alone will not pull in the DVD feed into the TV. Does it have to be a specific channel? I have tried the S-Video connection and also the RCA chords. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Thanks R

Its very unlikely that its anything to do with the TV, as if you select A/V on the TV that immediately switches its input to the RCA sockets, the only thing to check is whether or not whilst in that mode there is a selection of either "S" video or normal A/V input, the video being on the yellow RCA plug. Also remember that "S"video does not carry any audio, you still require the RCA lead for that, the audio plug being either black, white or red.
