You should really state what brand of laptop you have plus the operating system it runs on, as USB streaming drivers are very choosy on what equipment they will operate on, most dedicated to Windows XP systems. If your laptop had a firewire input socket then its best to use this form of coupling as no drivers are necessary, you will of course have to have some form of video manipulating software installed like the standard Windows movie maker etc to be able to capture the video, although more sophisticated software like Nero etc gives excellent results.
