HomeOn/off timer stuck on flashing Lighting struck in the area. Now the on/off timer flashes and will not allow the set to bring up a channel. After reading all the other problmes without a solution I hit the tv. Didn't help. Looks like a new flat screen is in the cards.

Probably the best policy!! although the flashing timer indication is a warning that the power unit has shut down for safety reasons because a fault has developed, so its not necessarily serious as far as component costs are concerned but could be if the labor costs are taken into account, this depending on who repairs it. |
