You really have to be more specific about what actually works and what doesn't as its quite impossible to assist without more detailed info, but the symptom that you mention even in its widest meaning isn't an ongoing issue with this model, albeit that something "slightly" similar has been with "D" followed by two digits models, and with this being known as the lens cap problem. However when you say you cannot record you fail to mention if everything else works OK or is the unit completely dead? although if it isn't can you play back previously recorded tapes? |
