Hi my camcorder just recently has stopped connecting to the pc via usb cable, it does not appear anywhere, bought new cable but no joy. Please can you help, Chris

Forgot to add, rebooting your PC between the two operations.

Its not necessarily caused by a camcorder problem as it could be that the software driver in the PC has become corrupted, you should try uninstalling it then once done reinstall again and have a further test.
