HomeI need some help finding a part. - my fire wire port has missing teeth does any one know where i can order this part and if it is even possible to replace it myself?

Firewire, DVi or IEEE1394 sockets, as they are all the same thing but given different names by the manufacturer of whatever they are fitted into, only has four operational pins which in many cases is very difficult to see, so are you sure of what you are describing as far as pins missing are concerned? |
