I have also had the C:31:22 error code with my TRV250 for about 2 weeks now. Came across this string as 2nd listing on google. I thought with as much success why not. I found that I did have to definitely give it a "wallop" as I left the hand strap on. I would suggest removing first. My camera is now working again and not showing the camera!
