I am looking to buy a used part for a Sony T.V.

My parents just gave me a KDF-E42A10 Sony television but it does not display a good picture.The picture is real snowy and there are vertical lines on it.My father had a technician look at it and he said the tv needed a "B Block".I don't have a part number for this "B Block.I was hoping someone does know where I could buy this part used.The technician told my father that this "B Block" part cost $850.00.I can't afford to put that kind of money into it.Like I said it's a Sony HD LCD projection tv,model# KDF-E42A10.Thank you.
