HomePlease help I've had my JVC for since 03 and this thing has had the same problem as described by many, where when you turn the camcorder on, I get an "error message, please stand by". I've put off trying to fix this for years, but the summers coming up and would like to capture the sights. Another problem is that when I turn it on, the screen says "revove lense cap, but I'm not able to view anything trough the view finder or the screen. I will take any suggestions. This was a wedding gift and I really don't want to throw it out. Thanks.

Further to the above, the model of the device you are referring to "must" always be mentioned, as info is dedicated to certain ranges.
