Need help fixing clicking noises

We have a 16 year old Nutone "Music Intercom IM 4006 Series". We have never had a problem up till now when we keep hearing a clicking noise through the system. We are selling our home and we have to get rid of that noise. Can anyone tell me what to check or do? Please HELP
