JVC AV36D502 Problem

Michael Troxel Posted Mar 05, 2009

Help

The on/timer light flashes and TV is dead. Won't power up. Was wanting to know if this could be a fuse? But I am not sure where to look for the fuse? TV is only 3 years old and it won't make any sounds except when pluged in it makes a clicking sound. Completely dead, except flashing of the on/timer light.

This is very strange. On March 5th, 2009 my exact TV did the exact same thing. I have not been able to repair it either.

The answer is NO! as this is a symptom of the power supply having shut down because a fault has been detected somewhere, always usually in the higher power consuming sections of the TV like the timebase / scanning circuits etc.
