I had the same problem and I was searching the Internet trying to find a resolution to no avail. What I ended up doing was unplugging the TV and replugging it. Then the message reappeared but on the bottom it said use the back button to exit. I hit the back button on my remote and the message vanished! I would try the back button on the remote first. If that doesn't work, unplug and replug unit. When the message appears hit the back button. Good luck...
