I haven't got any cables for my video camera to transfer to my pc also I have no software or manuals. It uses little tapes and I would really like to put them on my pc

Could anyone tell me please what cable I need to buy to connect and transfer from my camera to my pc? It has an AV hole and a JLIP (whatever that is)on the camera. Also do I need software? I only have usb slots on my pc.Also where could I get an instruction manual from? Please help. Many thanks in advance.
