Most of screen is black block except for 2 in. border around entire screen.

The screen is a black block except for about a 2 inch border around the outside of the screen. When I switch input to over the air it goes away. When I switch to any of the other inputs (Video 1-4)it comes back up. I have my satelite hooked up on video 1 input. Also, I can turn on PIP when TV is in over the air mode and the satellite will show up unobstructed on the small screen. When I swap screens the satellite screen is once again blacked out except for the border around the edge. This has just happened and I've tried every option on remote menu. You can still hear audio and see the video that is occurring but just around the 2 inch edge. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Just want to know if it can be fixed and is it worth fixing?
